Endued With Power

Devotional
After the resurrection, Jesus didn't immediately tell His disciples:
“GO!”

First, He told them:
“WAIT.”

They needed something they could never produce through human strength—the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus promised they would be clothed with power from on high.

And when the Holy Spirit came, everything changed.

Ordinary people became bold witnesses.
The gospel spread.
Lives were transformed.
Signs and wonders followed.
Awe filled the church.

The Christian life was never designed to be lived through human strength alone.

You need the Holy Spirit.

The same Spirit who empowered the early church is still working through surrendered believers today.

You weren't called merely to survive your Christian walk.

You were called to TAKE FLIGHT.

REFLECT
Are you trying to live for God in your own strength, or are you genuinely surrendered to and dependent upon the Holy Spirit?

TAKE ACTION
Spend at least 15 minutes today simply waiting before God.

No list.
No rushing.
No agenda.

Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal the areas you've been trying to manage on your own.

Then surrender them.

All of them.
