Throne Room Dwelling

Devotional
Where do you see yourself in relation to God? Are you standing outside His presence, hoping to earn your way in? Are you in the outer courts, trying to prove you belong? Or have you realized that through Christ, you actually dwell in the throne room itself? Jesus took us on an incredible journey - from the empty tomb where death was defeated, to the upper room where the Holy Spirit was given, to the throne room where we now have permanent residence. This isn't just a future hope; it's your present reality as a believer. Yet many Christians still live as if they're trying to work their way into God's presence rather than enjoying the access they already have. Religious spirits want to keep you in perpetual bondage, always striving but never arriving, always working but never resting in what's already been accomplished. The truth is, you're not trying to get to God - you're already with Him. You're not hoping to be accepted - you're already beloved. You're not working toward righteousness - you already have the righteousness of Christ Himself. This doesn't make you passive or careless. Instead, it fills you with wonder and gratitude that motivates genuine relationship. When you know you're already in the throne room, you don't serve to get there - you serve because you're already there. You don't obey to earn love - you obey because you're overwhelmed by the love you've already received. Today, remember that you're throne room dwelling people. That's where you reside as His beloved child.

Bible Verse
'Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.' - Hebrews 11:6

Reflection Question

How would your daily prayers, worship, and service change if you truly believed you already dwell in God's throne room rather than trying to earn your way there?

Quote
Jesus, he took us from the empty tomb to the upper room to the throne room. We are throne room dwelling people. That's where we reside as his people.

Prayer
Lord, thank You that through Jesus, I already have access to Your throne room. Help me to live from this place of acceptance and intimacy rather than striving to earn what I already have. Fill me with wonder at Your love and let that overflow into genuine relationship with You. Amen.
