Worship at Praise Tabernacle 

Originally from the beautiful island of St. Lucia, Donavan is blessed to share life with his wife, Karen, to whom he has been married for 23 years. Together, they are the proud parents of three wonderful boys: Ethan, Nathan, and Aaron.

Music has been part of Donavan’s life from a young age, including singing in choirs and playing instruments such as guitar and piano. Looking back, he can see how God guided his path and brought him to Praise Tabernacle, where his gifts in music and worship could grow and be used for God’s glory.

Stepping into the role of Worship Director has been a meaningful part of his journey. Here at Praise, God has opened doors for Donavan to use his gifts to bless others, lead people in worship, encourage the church, and bring honor to Him. The encouragement of the leaders and the supportive environment of the church have allowed him to step into this calling with joy and gratitude.

As the leader of Praise City, our worship team, my heart is to cultivate a community of worshippers who love God deeply and are committed to glorifying Him through music. Our vision is to use our God-given talents to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God, be refreshed in His presence, and see their lives transformed. Worship, for us, is more than music; it’s a powerful act of drawing closer to God and leading others to do the same.

We are always looking for individuals who are saved, passionate about God, and have a heart for worship.
