The Power of Koinonia

Reading:
John 13:34–35; Acts 2:44–46; Hebrews 10:24–25
Devotional
Koinonia means fellowship—but biblical fellowship goes much deeper than simply being in the same room.
It is a shared life built around a shared identity in Christ.
The early believers gathered continually because the love of Jesus drew them together.
They were different people from different backgrounds, but their unity in Christ was stronger than their differences.
Jesus said the world would recognize His disciples by something incredibly powerful:
The way they love one another.
That means our relationships can become part of our witness.
When believers encourage each other, pray for each other, serve together, forgive each other, carry burdens together, and genuinely love one another, the world gets a glimpse of Jesus.
Koinonia makes an invisible God visible through His people.
REFLECT
Are you investing in genuine Christ-centered relationships, or have you settled for surface-level interaction with other believers?
TAKE ACTION
Reach out to one person in your church community you don't know very well.
Start a conversation.
Sit together.
Share a meal.
Pray together.
Let Jesus become your common ground.
