You Are Cleared for Takeoff

A plane sitting at the gate, fully fueled and ready to fly, is not doing what it was built to do. At some point, it has to push back, hit the runway, and go. All the preparation in the world means nothing if the plane never takes off. God has given you everything you need for this journey. His Son's blood covers you. His Word is your flight plan. His Spirit is your fuel. His people are your crew. And Jesus Himself is your Captain. You are not missing anything. You are not behind. You are not disqualified. You have been cleared for takeoff. That does not mean the ride will be smooth. Turbulence is real, and it will come. But turbulence does not mean you are off course. It means you are moving. Faith is not the absence of difficulty. It is trusting the One who is flying the plane even when things get bumpy. Your calling does not have to be massive to matter. It might be one conversation, one act of faithfulness, one step of obedience. Start there. Be faithful with the little, and watch God turn it into much. He has already spoken over your life. Now it is your turn to go.

Bible Verse
'Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.' - Hebrews 12:1 (New Living Translation (NLT))

Reflection Question
What is one specific thing God has been calling you toward that you have been sitting on, and what would it look like to take your first real step this week?

Quote
"God has already spoken to each and every one of us. You are cleared for takeoff. You have to go. It's time to go."

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for being my Captain. I trust You with the journey ahead. Help me to stop sitting at the gate and start moving in the purpose You have already prepared for me. Amen.
