THE HEART OF A SERVANT

Scripture Reading:
Philippians 2:1–11
Key Verse:
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:" — Philippians 2:5 (KJV)
Today's Devotional
The world teaches us to climb higher, gain recognition, and protect our position. Yet Jesus demonstrated something completely different. Though He possessed all authority, He willingly humbled Himself and became a servant.
Humility isn't thinking less of ourselves; it's choosing to think of ourselves less. It's recognizing that serving others is not beneath us but is part of becoming more like Christ.
Sometimes our greatest spiritual growth comes when we surrender our need to be right, recognized, or in control.
Personal Reflection: Where is God asking me to lay down my pride or personal preferences to demonstrate Christlike humility?
Today's Faith Challenge:
Quietly serve someone today without expecting appreciation or recognition.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, remove every trace of pride that keeps me from reflecting Your heart. Teach me to serve with humility, love without conditions, and place others before myself. Let my life point people toward Jesus. Amen.
