The Answer to Your Fear Has a Name

Devotional
When Moses asked God who He should say sent Him, God did not give a title or a resume. He simply said, "I AM." That is it. No explanation needed. No qualifications attached. Just the unchanging, unshakeable presence of the living God. Fear loves to ask "what if." What if it does not work? What if people do not believe me? What if I fail again? But God's answer to every "what if" is simply "I AM." He is not a God of hypotheticals. He is the God of what is, right now, in this moment. Fear shrinks when it comes face to face with who God actually is. And that is why spending time in His Word and in His presence is not optional for the person who wants to live free. Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The more we fill ourselves with who He is, the less room fear has to operate. You do not have to have all the answers. You just need to know the One who does. Stop looking at the size of the problem and start looking at the size of your God.

Bible Verse
"So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ." - Romans 10:17 (New Living Translation (NLT))

Reflection Question
What "what if" fear has been louder in your life than the truth of who God says He is?

Quote
"I am is what is. It's not about what if it's. I am is what is. Enough said. Period, finished, complete. I am whatever I say it is. Stop looking at you. Stop looking at me, Stop looking at us. Look at him."

Prayer
Father, remind me today that You are the great I AM, and that Your presence is greater than any fear I face. Help me to fill my heart with Your Word so that faith grows louder than doubt. Amen.
