The Ripple Effect Copy

Devotional
The beautiful culmination of the Christian life is reaching the place where we can honestly pray, "Jesus, I'm clinging to you for all I'm worth. And whenever you think I'm ready, go ahead and fling me out there, wherever you need me to go, because I'm ready to help you build your kingdom." This prayer represents the perfect balance between intimacy and mission, between receiving and giving, between clinging and flinging. It acknowledges that our relationship with Jesus is the foundation, but it also embraces the truth that love shared is love multiplied. Being ready to be flung doesn't mean you have all the answers or that you've achieved spiritual perfection. It means you've spent enough time with Jesus to know His heart, to trust His leading, and to believe that He can use you wherever He sends you. It means you understand that the same Jesus who meets you in your quiet moments also walks with you into every conversation and relationship. Whether God flings you to the mission field or to the grocery store, to a foreign country or to your own family room, you can go with confidence. You carry His presence, His love, and His power. You are equipped not because of your abilities, but because of your connection to Him.

Bible Verse
'If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.' - John 14:15-16 (NLT)

Reflection Question

What would it look like for you to live with a heart that's both clinging to Jesus and ready to be sent wherever He leads?

Quote
Jesus, I'm clinging to you for all I'm worth. And whenever you think I'm ready, go ahead and fling me out there, wherever you need me to go, because I'm ready to help you build your kingdom.

Prayer
Jesus, I want to cling to You with all my heart while remaining open to wherever You want to send me. Make me ready to be used for Your kingdom purposes.
