Discipleship Family Ties

Scripture Reading: 
“He had a very beautiful and lovely young cousin, Hadassah, who was also called Esther. When her father and mother died, Mordecai adopted her into his family and raised her as his own daughter.” — Esther 2:7

Reflection:
Mordecai's commitment to Esther was not just a role but a calling. Taking Esther in, he showed a willingness to take personal responsibility for her welfare and growth. True discipleship often begins in the family and extends to others God places in our lives. Sometimes, it requires stepping in and committing to nurture someone’s faith and character.

Reflect on the people God has entrusted to you—whether family members, friends, or others in your community. How can you take greater responsibility for their spiritual growth? Pray for God’s wisdom and heart to guide them faithfully.
