The Urgency Of Now

Devotional
When Paul stood before King Agrippa, he understood something crucial: this might be his only chance to share Christ with these influential people. He didn't know if Agrippa, Festus, or Bernice would ever again hear the gospel message. So he spoke with urgency and passion, holding nothing back. Too often, we approach evangelism casually, assuming we'll have endless opportunities to share our faith with friends, family, and colleagues. But the reality is that we don't know how many chances we'll get. People move away, relationships change, and sadly, death comes unexpectedly. Paul's example challenges us to view each opportunity to share Christ as potentially our last. This doesn't mean pressuring people or using manipulative tactics. Rather, it means speaking truth clearly and lovingly when the door opens, not assuming we can always "get to it later." Today, consider who in your life needs to hear about Jesus. Don't put off until tomorrow what God may be prompting you to share today. The cost of someone not hearing the gospel is eternal.

Bible Verse
"My soul is in deep anguish. How long, LORD, how long?" - Psalm 22:2

Reflection Question
Is there someone specific in your life with whom you've been hesitant to share the gospel? What's holding you back, and what might happen if you never take that step?

Quote
"Don't put yourself in a situation where it's too late and you wish you had told somebody more because you can tell them now. And let's make good use of the time that we have, because you never know when somebody's time is going to run out."

Prayer
Father, forgive me for times I've missed opportunities to share Your love with others. Give me a sense of urgency tempered with wisdom. Help me recognize open doors and walk through them with courage, knowing that eternal destinies hang in the balance. May I never regret words left unspoken. Amen.
