Embracing Transformation
Devotional
Change can be uncomfortable, but it's essential for growth. Just as a seed must break open for a plant to emerge, sometimes our old ways of thinking and behaving need to be broken for new life to spring forth. God is constantly working to transform us into the image of Christ, but this transformation requires our cooperation. When we embrace His process of change, even when it's uncomfortable, we position ourselves for powerful spiritual growth.
Bible Verse
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds" - James 1:2

What old patterns or behaviors might God be asking you to leave behind for something new?

We are brand new creatures in Christ Jesus. Old things are passed away and all things have become new. We don't have to do things the way we used to do them.

Lord, give me the courage to embrace Your transforming work in my life. Help me to let go of old ways that no longer serve Your purpose for me. Amen.
