Redirecting Glory To God
Scripture:
Acts 14:8-18
Devotional:
When Paul healed the lame man in Lystra, the crowd mistook him and Barnabas for gods. However, they immediately redirected all praise and glory to the one true God. In our lives, it can be tempting to take credit for our accomplishments or the ways God works through us.
Today, examine your heart. Are there areas where you've been accepting praise that rightfully belongs to God? How can you more intentionally point others to Jesus through your words and actions?
Pray for humility and for eyes to see the countless ways God is working in and through you each day.
