Ordinary People

Scripture:
Acts 4:13
"When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and took note that these men had been with Jesus."

Reflection:
Peter and John were ordinary men, yet their boldness amazed the religious leaders. Their relationship with Jesus was evident in their words and actions. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live beyond our natural abilities and reflect Christ to the world.

Application:
Write down one way you can allow the Holy Spirit to work through you this week. Remember that God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Trust Him with your ordinary and watch Him do the extraordinary.
