Reflection:
Paul recognized Timothy’s faithfulness despite his youth and multicultural background. Timothy’s character and dedication stood out to Paul, showing that discipleship begins with seeing others as God does—valuing their potential, not their limitations.

Application:
Pray for God to open your eyes to individuals in your life who may be ready for discipleship. Ask Him to help you look beyond outward appearances and recognize their God-given potential.
