Discipleship/Friendship: David & Jonathan

Reflection:
Jonathan took a risk to defend David, even though it meant going against his father, the king. In discipleship, standing in the gap sometimes requires boldness and advocacy for those we lead, especially when facing unjust criticism or challenges they cannot face alone.

Application:
Consider who might need your advocacy today. Is there someone you are discipling facing a challenge, criticism, or spiritual attack? Pray for them and, if appropriate, offer to stand with them and intercede on their behalf.
