Jonathan’s covenant with David exemplifies sacrificial love beyond words. By giving David his royal garments and weapons, Jonathan expressed his willingness to set aside his rights for David’s future. This act of generosity signified friendship and symbolized Jonathan’s desire to support David’s calling from God.

Application:
Ask yourself, "What can I give to help someone else fulfill their purpose in Christ?" True discipleship involves a commitment to give, even if it costs us. Today, seek to be generous with your time, resources, and support for those you are discipling.
