Generational Discipleship

Scripture Reading:
Genesis 12:1-3
"The Lord had said to Abram, 'Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.'"

Reflection:
Abraham's journey began with a call to leave everything familiar and step out in faith. God promised him blessings, but the fulfillment of those promises required obedience. Abraham's willingness to follow God without knowing where he was going is a model of faith for us. True faith is believing in God’s promises and acting on them, even when we don’t see the full picture.

Application:
Is there something God asks you to step into or leave behind? Trust His direction and take the next step in faith, knowing that obedience opens the door to God’s blessings for you and others.
