Offering Contrite Heart

Scripture:

Psalm 51: 16-17

Reflection:

God desires a heart that is humble and repentant over empty rituals. True worship and repentance come from a broken and contrite heart, fully aware of its need for God's mercy.

Application/Journal Entry/Discussion:

Evaluate your heart and motives in your worship and service to God. Offer up to God any areas where pride or self-reliance have taken root. Ask Him to cultivate a heart of true humility and repentance.
