Discipleship Family Ties
Scripture Reading:
“Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: ‘Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace, you will escape when all other Jews are killed.’” — Esther 4:13
Reflection:
Mordecai didn’t hesitate to give Esther a challenging message. Sometimes, true discipleship means helping others confront uncomfortable truths about their responsibilities and role in God’s plan. Mordecai saw Esther’s position as queen as more than a blessing; it was a calling that required her to act boldly on behalf of others.
Application:
Are you willing to share challenging truths with those you disciple? Pray for the courage to guide others honestly, even when uncomfortable. If God has put someone on your heart who needs bold guidance, reach out to them today.
