The Spirit Of Truth
Scripture:
John 16:13 –
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth."
Reflection:
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, leading us away from deception and into the light of God's will. The story of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11) reveals the dangers of dishonesty before God. While God's grace is abundant, persistent sin without repentance grieves the Spirit and leads to spiritual death.
Application:
Examine your heart today. Are there any areas where deception, pride, or dishonesty have taken root? Ask the Holy Spirit to purify your thoughts and actions, and commit to walking in truth.
