Empowered Witnesses
Scripture Reading:
Acts 1:4-5
"Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days, you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
Reflection:
Jesus instructed His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit, emphasizing the importance of preparation and trust in God’s timing. The Holy Spirit’s empowerment is not a one-time event but a continual process of renewal and surrender. Just as the disciples waited intentionally, we must seek God daily, trusting His promise to equip us for our calling.
Application:
Spend 10 minutes in prayer today, asking the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. Reflect on areas of your life where you need to wait on God’s timing and trust Him for guidance.
