Baptized Into A New Identity
Scripture:
Acts 10:47-48 –
"‘Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.’ So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ."
Reflection:
Baptism was the final confirmation that Cornelius and his household belonged fully to the family of faith. No one can stand in the way when God calls someone His own.
Application:
If you’ve been baptized, reflect on what that commitment means today. Are you walking in the new identity Christ has given you? Ask God to renew your heart and lead you into deeper obedience if not.
