Living In The Spirit
Scripture:
Acts 1:21-22 21 “So now we must choose a replacement for Judas from among the men who were with us the entire time we were traveling with the Lord Jesus— 22 from the time he was baptized by John until the day he was taken from us. Whoever is chosen will join us as a witness of Jesus’ resurrection.”
Reflection:
The apostles established clear criteria for leadership: the candidate needed to have firsthand experience with Jesus and witness His resurrection. This reminds us of the importance of spiritual maturity. Leaders are not perfect but must be rooted in Christ and committed to His mission.
Application:
Reflect on the leaders in your life. Pray for their wisdom, integrity, and faithfulness. Consider how you can support and encourage them in their roles.
