Daily Dose of Praise April

Scripture Reading: 
Lamentations 4:1-2

Reflection: 
Pride blinds us to our own shortcomings. It convinces us of our invincibility, shielding us from the truth of our vulnerability. Like the inhabitants of Jerusalem, we may become ensnared by the illusion of our own glory, failing to recognize the cracks in our foundation until it crumbles beneath us. Today, let us prayerfully examine our hearts, asking God to reveal any traces of pride within us.
 
Application/Journal Entry/Discussion:
Take time to reflect on areas of your life where pride may be lurking. Are there relationships, accomplishments, or possessions that you hold onto with a sense of entitlement? Surrender them to God, inviting Him to cultivate humility within you.
