Daily Dose of Praise October
Scripture Reading:
Judges 16:20:
"But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him."
Reflection:
God gave Samson numerous chances to repent, but eventually, Samson’s continued disobedience led to his downfall. God’s judgment came when Samson’s strength was removed, and his enemies captured him. We must remember that while God is merciful, there is also a time for judgment when we persist in sin.
Application:
Examine areas of persistent disobedience in your life. Ask yourself if you are taking God’s mercy for granted. Repent of these actions and seek the Lord’s forgiveness before it is too late.
