The Narrow Path

Life offers countless paths, but Jesus makes an exclusive claim that challenges our modern sensibilities. He doesn't present himself as one option among many, but as the only way to the Father. This isn't about religious superiority—it's about the reality of who Jesus is. The path to life is narrow, exactly as wide as Jesus himself, from shoulder to shoulder. There's no room for compromise or trying to squeeze other allegiances alongside him. This might feel restrictive, but consider this: when you're walking through a dangerous mountain pass, you want the guide who knows the only safe route. Jesus isn't limiting your freedom—he's offering you the security of the one true path. The narrow way isn't about exclusion; it's about precision. Just as a surgeon must be precise to save a life, Jesus is precise about the way to eternal life because he loves us too much to let us wander into destruction.
