Daily Choice Divine Power

Devotional
Every morning when you wake up, you face a fundamental choice: Will you live as the first Adam or the last Adam? The first Adam represents our earthly nature - limited, fallen, and bound by human weakness. The last Adam represents Christ's nature within us - powerful, victorious, and connected to heaven's resources. This choice isn't made once and forgotten; it's a daily decision that shapes how we respond to challenges, relationships, and opportunities. When you choose to live as the last Adam, you're not relying on your own strength, wisdom, or abilities. You're tapping into the same power that created the universe and conquered death. This doesn't mean life becomes easy, but it means you're no longer facing difficulties alone or with limited resources. You have access to divine wisdom for complex decisions, supernatural peace in chaotic situations, and love that extends beyond human capacity. The beautiful truth is that this choice is always available to you, regardless of how you lived yesterday. Each new day brings fresh opportunities to walk in spiritual power rather than earthly limitation.
Bible Verse
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. - 1 Corinthians 15:45 (King James Version)
Reflection Question
In what specific situations do you find yourself defaulting to earthly thinking instead of accessing the spiritual power available to you?
Quote
So we got to choose every day. Am I going to be the first Adam or the last Adam? Am I going to be in the flesh, or am I going to be in the spirit?
Prayer
Lord, help me choose daily to live as the last Adam, walking in Your power rather than my limitations. Fill me with Your Spirit and wisdom. Amen.
