Called To Restore

Devotional
In a world quick to condemn and cancel, God has called His people to be different. We are restorers, not destroyers. When someone falls, the world's response is often to kick them while they're down, but that's not our way. As believers, we're part of the same body—when one hurts, we all hurt. Our identity isn't found in pointing out others' failures but in lifting them back up. This calling to restoration starts with understanding that we've all needed grace and mercy. None of us arrived at faith perfect, and none of us will be perfect this side of heaven. The church should be known as a place where broken people find healing, where the fallen find helping hands, and where restoration happens through love and compassion. This is who we are meant to be.

Bible Verse
'Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.' - Galatians 6:1

Reflection Question
When you see someone struggling or fallen, is your first instinct to judge them or to find ways to help restore them?

Quote
We're called to be restorers. What is the name of our church? Praise Tabernacle. People. What? That's our identity. This is a restoration house. This is a house of restoration. This is where people, sinners, come and find restoration, find help, find love, find compassion, find care.

Prayer
Lord, help me to be a restorer rather than a judge. Give me Your heart of compassion for those who are struggling and the wisdom to help them gently.
