Living The Gospel

Devotional
The Gospel isn't just a message we heard once and moved on from - it's the good news that continues to transform our daily lives. Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. This isn't ancient history; it's the foundation of how we live today. Because of the Gospel, we're no longer separated from God. We've been restored, saved from sin, and given the Holy Spirit to walk with us. This incredible gift should naturally overflow into how we treat others, how we handle conflicts, and how we respond to both blessings and challenges. The Gospel message reminds us that our identity isn't based on our performance but on Christ's finished work. This frees us to love others without keeping score, to forgive without demanding payment, and to serve without expecting recognition. When people look at our lives, they should already know we belong to Jesus - not because we're perfect, but because His love has genuinely changed us forever.
Bible Verse
'For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.' - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Reflection Question
How does the reality of the Gospel - that you've been completely forgiven and restored to God - change how you interact with others today?
Quote
The Gospel isn't just a message, but it's the good news that we were saved from sin and we can now be One with God.
Prayer
Thank You, Jesus, for the Gospel that has changed my life forever. Help me live in the freedom and love You've given me, showing others Your goodness through my life.
