Recognizing Potential
Scripture Reading:
Exodus 17:9-10
Moses said to Joshua, “Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.” So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered.
Reflection:
Moses saw potential in Joshua and gave him a critical responsibility—leading Israel in battle. This wasn’t just about strategy; it was an opportunity for Joshua to grow in leadership. True mentorship involves trusting others with real challenges, knowing their success will advance God's work.

Identify someone in your life with leadership potential. Pray for wisdom to mentor and empower them. Ask God to help you recognize and embrace growth opportunities if you are a disciple.
