Daily Dose of Praise August

Scripture:
"Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice."

Reflection: 
True happiness does not come from seeing others fail, even those who have wronged us. God calls us to show empathy and kindness, even towards our enemies. When we align our hearts with God's love and justice, we find a deeper joy that comes from treating others with compassion and grace.

Application/Journal Entry/Discussion: 
Today, examine your heart for any lingering bitterness or resentment toward others. Ask God to help you respond with kindness instead of rejoicing in their misfortune. Look for opportunities to show empathy, even in small ways, to those who may have wronged you.
