The Process Of Being Made

Devotional
Have you ever felt like you're in a season where nothing seems to be happening? Where you're waiting, wondering, maybe even struggling? These seasons aren't wasted time - they're actually when God is doing some of His most important work in us. Just like a meal needs time in the oven to be properly prepared, we need time in God's hands to become who He's calling us to be. The process isn't always comfortable, and it rarely happens on our timeline, but it's necessary. During these times, it's crucial that we don't isolate ourselves. When we withdraw from community, we miss out on the encouragement, wisdom, and support that God provides through others. Your struggles aren't unique to you - others have walked similar paths and can offer hope and perspective. Trust the process, stay connected, and remember that God is actively working in your life even when you can't see it.

Bible Verse
'For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.' - Mark 8:35 (New Living Translation)

Reflection Question
How can you stay connected with others during challenging seasons instead of withdrawing into isolation?

Quote
We're cooking in the oven. We're being made. We're cooking right now. God's cooking us.

Prayer
Father, help me trust Your timing and process in my life. Keep me connected to the community You've placed around me during this season.
