Healed for a Purpose

Scripture Reading:
Isaiah 53:4–5; Luke 17:11–19; Esther 4:14
Devotional:
Sometimes we become so focused on getting through a difficult season that we forget to ask God what He wants to accomplish through our experience.
The powerful testimonies shared by Stacey and Connie remind us that God's work in our lives extends beyond the moment of physical healing.
Connie's testimony reminds us of the importance of recognizing and responding to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, including taking necessary steps to seek medical care. Stacey's journey through cancer reveals that restoration can reach far beyond the physical body, bringing spiritual transformation and a renewed sense of purpose.
Isaiah 53 points us to the suffering of Christ and the healing and restoration found through Him. While we continue to pray and believe God for healing, we also trust His wisdom and timing, knowing that His presence sustains us through every outcome.
Consider the ten lepers Jesus healed in Luke 17. All ten experienced healing, but only one returned to give thanks. Jesus drew attention to that man's faith and gratitude.
There is something powerful about recognizing not only what God has done, but also what He is calling us to do next.
Your testimony is not simply a story about what happened to you. It can become a source of hope for someone who is still walking through the very season you survived.
God can use what you have walked through to help someone else find the courage to keep walking.
Reflection:
What difficult season has God brought you through? Have you considered how your experience might encourage someone who is struggling today?
Daily Challenge:
Write down one testimony of God's faithfulness in your life. Identify one person who needs encouragement and share a portion of your story with them this week. Let your experience become an opportunity to point someone toward Jesus.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for sustaining me through every difficult season. Thank You for the healing, strength, and restoration You provide. Help me recognize that my experiences are not wasted. Give me courage to share my testimony and compassion to encourage those who are still struggling. Use my life for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Take Flight Reminder:
What God brought you through may become the very testimony that helps someone else rise!
