Daily Dose of Praise September
Scripture Reading:
“His father and mother replied, ‘Isn’t there an acceptable woman among your relatives or all our people? Must you go to the uncircumcised Philistines to get a wife?’” – Judges 14:3
Reflection:
Samson’s parents tried to counsel him, warning him against his desires, but he ignored them. Sometimes, God places authority figures and wise counsel in our lives to protect us from danger. Ignoring godly advice can lead us into unnecessary hardship.
Application:
Reflect on advice or warnings you may have dismissed recently. Seek wisdom from trusted spiritual leaders or mentors and be open to correction. Ask God for the humility to listen and act on godly counsel.
