Daily Dose of Praise September
Scripture Reading:
“Then Samson went down to Timnah and saw there a young Philistine woman. When he returned, he said to his father and mother, ‘I have seen a Philistine woman in Timnah; now get her for me as my wife.’” – Judges 14:1-2
Reflection:
Samson was drawn in by what he saw and desired, without seeking God's wisdom. His impulsive decision led him down a dangerous path. Like a spider’s web, temptation can seem attractive until it traps us. It begins with something appealing but eventually leads us away from God's will.
Application:
Reflect on areas where you may follow your desires without seeking God's guidance. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you recognize temptation and avoid decisions based solely on immediate gratification.
