Scripture:  Proverbs 21:4

Reflection: Pride is the opposite of humility and a dangerous trap leading to sin. We become self-centered and disconnected from God's wisdom when we are proud. Pride blinds us to our faults and distances us from God's grace. It leads us down a path of moral corruption and destruction.

Application/Journal Entry/Discussion: Identify areas in your life where pride may be taking root. Confess these to God and ask for His help in overcoming them. Seek to replace pride with a humble spirit open to God's correction and guidance.
