Understanding God’s Mercy

Scripture Reading:
Psalm 51: 1-2

Reflection:
Mercy is one of the most profound attributes of God. David’s plea in Psalm 51 reminds us that God’s mercy is rooted in His faithfulness and compassion. Mercy is not getting the punishment we deserve but receiving God's favor instead. This psalm, written after David’s grave sins of adultery and murder, shows that no sin is too great for God’s mercy.

Application:

Reflect on times when you have experienced God's mercy in your life. Confess any sins you have been hiding and ask God to cleanse you from them. Write a prayer of gratitude for His unending mercy and faithfulness.
