The Humility To Come Over

We live in a world that celebrates self-promotion and personal achievement, yet Jesus calls us to something radically different. When we approach God, whether in prayer, worship, or seeking His guidance, it requires something our culture struggles with: humility. There's something powerful that happens when we set aside our pride and come before God with open hearts. It's in these moments of surrender that real transformation begins. Many of us resist this because we've been conditioned to believe that showing vulnerability is weakness. But in God's kingdom, acknowledging our need for Him is actually the beginning of true strength. When we humble ourselves before God, we position ourselves to receive His grace, wisdom, and power in ways that self-reliance never could provide.
