THE GOOD HAND OF GOD UPON YOU

**? Reading:** Nehemiah 2:18

**Key Verse:** *“Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me…”* — Nehemiah 2:18

? Devotional: Remember What His Hand Has Already Done

Before Nehemiah asked the people to rebuild anything, he gave them a testimony. He reminded them that **God had already been moving**.

Sometimes we become so focused on what still needs to happen that we forget what God has already done. Yet yesterday’s faithfulness can become fuel for today’s assignment.

Nehemiah could see that the king’s favor, the resources he received, and the doors that opened were not coincidences. **The good hand of God was upon him.**

Take a moment today and look back. Think about the doors God opened, the prayers He answered, the people He placed in your path, and even the situations He protected you from. You may not have recognized His hand while you were walking through it—but now you can see that He was there.

The same God who brought you **this far** is already present in what He is calling you to build **next**.

? Personal Reflection
Where have you recently seen the good hand of God at work, even if you did not recognize it at the time?

? Life Application
Write down **three specific examples** of God's guidance, provision, protection, or favor in your life. Then share one testimony with someone today. Your testimony may become the encouragement they need.

? Closing Prayer
**Father, thank You for Your good hand upon my life. Forgive me for the times I have focused more on what is missing than on what You have already done. Open my eyes to recognize Your faithfulness. As You call me to rise and rebuild, give me courage to move forward knowing Your hand is upon me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.**
