You Are Already Qualified

Devotional
One of the biggest reasons people hesitate when God interrupts their life is a quiet but persistent belief that they are not good enough. Too many mistakes. Too much history. Too far from where they think they need to be before God could actually use them. But here is the truth that changes everything: God has already taken care of that. The cross was not just about forgiveness for eternity. It was also about making you usable right now. The sacrifice of Jesus qualifies you for service in a way that no amount of personal effort or self-improvement ever could. You do not have to earn your way into availability. You are already accepted. Moses thought his past disqualified him. Gideon thought his family background disqualified him. But God was not looking at their history. He was looking at their availability. God has a plan for your life that is better than anything you could design on your own. He is not waiting for you to clean yourself up or figure everything out. He is simply waiting for you to say yes. The runway is ready. The invitation is open. You are not too broken, too late, or too far gone. You are exactly the kind of person God has always chosen to work through. So today, be available. Say yes to the interruption. Take the step. God has already made a way, and His plans for you are worth trusting.
Bible Verse
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'" - Jeremiah 29:11 (New Living Translation (NLT))
Reflection Question
What would it look like for you to fully trust that God has already qualified you and step into the interruption He is placing in front of you right now?
Quote
"God has already made provision for your forgiveness, for your cleansing. He has made sure that you are usable for him. He provided a sacrifice at Calvary that makes you totally acceptable in his eyes. It's called the blood of Jesus. It's the sacrifice on the cross that qualifies you for service."
Prayer
God, thank You that the cross has already made me usable. I choose today to say yes to Your plans and trust that Your way is better than my own. Amen.
