Know Who You Are Waiting On

Waiting is hard. But waiting becomes a lot easier when you truly know who you are waiting on. God has no beginning and no end. He spoke the universe into existence out of nothing. He created the sun, the moon, the seas, the animals, and every living thing, simply with His word. That same God knows your name. He knows your past, your present, and every detail of your future. Sometimes discouragement creeps in because we focus on what we do not have yet, or what has not changed yet. But when you understand who God is, the waiting shifts. It stops feeling like abandonment and starts feeling like preparation. He is not holding out on you. He is not unaware of what you are going through. He never grows weary, and He never runs out of ideas or resources. If He could create everything from nothing, He can absolutely provide for you in the middle of your nothing. Today, take a moment to simply reflect on who God is. Not what you need from Him, but who He actually is. Let that truth settle into your heart. Because the more clearly you see Him, the more confidently you can trust Him with whatever you are waiting for.

Prayer
God, remind me today of who You truly are. When I feel discouraged or forgotten, let the truth of Your greatness and Your goodness anchor my heart. I trust You. Amen.
