The Gospel Was Always Meant to Move

Devotional
The Gospel is not a destination. It is a movement. It begins when someone who is lost hears the good news and responds. That person grows. Growth leads to discipleship. Discipleship leads to serving. Serving leads to making more disciples. And the cycle continues, generation after generation. This is not a program. It is a pattern woven into the very nature of the Gospel itself. When you receive grace, you are not meant to hold it. You are meant to pass it on. Every person you invest in becomes a link in a chain that extends far beyond what you can see. Think about it this way: the person you disciple will one day disciple someone else. That person will disciple another. What you pour into one life today has the potential to ripple outward for generations. That is not an exaggeration. That is the design. You are part of something much larger than your own spiritual journey. The question is not whether the Gospel will move forward. It will. The question is whether you will be part of how it does.

Bible Verse
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6 (New Living Translation (NLT))
Reflection Question
When you think about the people you interact with regularly, who might God be positioning you to intentionally invest in as part of His bigger story?

Quote

"The gospel always move forward. The gospel begins by introducing itself to the lost. The lost become saved. The saved begin to grow. The growth takes place in discipleship. The disciple begins to serve and the servant begins to make disciple."

Prayer
Lord, help me see my life as part of Your larger mission. Show me who You have placed in my path, and give me the willingness to invest in them with the same grace You have shown me. Amen.
