Saturday Recap: From Savior to Father

This Week's Big Idea
This week we explored one powerful truth: God doesn't just want to be your Savior—He wants to be your Father.

Many believers know Jesus as Savior and have experienced the work of the Holy Spirit, yet still wrestle with insecurity, fear, rejection, or feelings of not belonging. Why? Because they have never fully embraced their identity as sons and daughters of God.

Throughout the week we learned:
✅ God is inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him as Father.
✅ Our earthly experiences can distort how we see God, but Scripture reveals who He truly is.
✅ God desires intimacy with us—He invites us to call Him "Abba," which means "Daddy" or "Father."
✅ We are not orphans trying to earn God's approval. We are His children and heirs.
✅ Once we receive the Father's love, we are called to share that love with others.

The heart of the Gospel is not simply that God saved you from something. It is that He adopted you into His family.

The Father isn't asking you to perform for His love. He's inviting you to live from His love.
Take a moment today and ask yourself:

Do I truly live as a loved child of God, or am I still trying to earn a place that Jesus already secured for me?
