Fathered to Father Others

Devotional
When you truly receive the Father's love, something shifts. You stop living for yourself and start living from a place of fullness. And fullness, by its very nature, overflows. This is where the journey gets exciting. God doesn't just want to heal you. He wants to use you. The love He pours into you is meant to pour out of you into the people around you who are still searching, still hurting, still living like orphans who don't know they have a Father. Every person you encounter carries a void. And at the root of that void, more often than not, is a Father-shaped hole. You, having been fathered by God, can become that presence for someone else. Not perfectly. Not with all the answers. But with love that is real, steady, and rooted in something bigger than yourself. This is what the church is called to be. Not just a gathering of people who have their lives together, but a family of sons and daughters who have been so changed by the Father's love that they can't help but give it away. You are secure. You are loved. You are His. Now go be that for someone else.

Bible Verse
"And the Holy Spirit confirms it by saying, 'You really are my children.'" - Romans 8:16 (New Living Translation (NLT))

Reflection Question
Who in your life right now might be living with a Father-shaped void, and how could you, out of the overflow of God's love in your own life, be a reflection of the Father to them?

Quote
"When you know the Father's love, you become a Father to others. You become the hands and feet of the Father. You become the voice of the Father. You become what people need. You fill the void. Because that's the void that everyone has is the Father."

Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me Your own. Let Your love in me overflow to everyone I encounter today, and make me a reflection of Your heart to a world that desperately needs to know You. Amen.
