📖 In Acts 4:23–31, the early church faced growing opposition for preaching the name of Jesus. Threatened by religious leaders and pressured to remain silent, the believers gathered together in prayer. Yet instead of asking God to remove the danger or make life easier, they prayed for boldness. They asked for courage to continue speaking God's Word and for the power of the Holy Spirit to work through them. In response, the place where they were gathered was shaken, and they were filled afresh with the Holy Spirit.

Fear has always been one of the enemy's most effective weapons against God's people. Fear of rejection, criticism, opposition, failure, or conflict can silence believers and keep them from walking fully in God's calling. The pressure to compromise or remain quiet is not new. The early church faced it, and believers continue to face it today. Yet God's answer has never been retreat. His answer is Spirit-empowered boldness.
