About Ari Hauben
Ari Hauben will be speaking on the Fall Festivals and how they can be used to deepen our prayer life.
Raised in a traditional Reform Jewish home near Philadelphia, Ari participated in Hebrew school, Jewish camps, and celebrated all the holidays. Yet, despite this foundation, he never truly believed God was real. His perspective began to change in his early twenties when, after asking his Rabbi what would happen after death, he was shocked to hear the Rabbi respond that he did not know. This moment launched Ari into a search for truth.
Exploring Eastern philosophy at first, Ari eventually encountered believers who shared the love of God with him. He realized that if God was real, he was a sinner in need of atonement. For Ari, Jesus and Judaism had always seemed like opposites. That changed on April 6, 1997, when he prayed to receive Jesus as his Messiah. On that same day, he opened the New Testament for the first time, cried out to the Lord, and believed that Jesus had been sent as the sacrifice in his place. His very first prayer after salvation was asking God’s forgiveness for hating His name.
Ari’s faith quickly grew into a passion for sharing the Gospel. While working over a decade as a Higher Education Administrator, he consistently shared his faith and later served full-time with ministries dedicated to bringing the Good News to the Jewish people. Today, as a staff member with Chosen People Ministries, Ari continues his mission of equipping believers to share the miracle of forgiveness found in Jesus.
Ari is married to Karen, also a Jewish believer, and together they are raising three daughters, Rachel, Liya, and Talia.
