Time To Get Radical

Devotional
Sometimes playing it safe is the most dangerous thing you can do. If you want to see real change in your life, you're going to have to get a little radical. Not reckless, but radical - willing to step outside your comfort zone and do what others won't do. God doesn't use the perfect people; He uses the willing ones. He chooses the broken, the unlikely, the misfits - people who are desperate enough to try something different. Maybe that's exactly where you are right now, and that's exactly where God wants you. Being radical might mean having that difficult conversation you've been avoiding. It might mean taking a step of faith financially. It could mean sharing your faith with someone who needs Jesus, even though you're nervous about their response. The days we're living in require radical saints - people who aren't content to blend in with the world but are determined to shine God's light wherever they go. Darkness is expelled wherever light appears, and you carry that light within you. You won't know what God can do through you until you try. You won't know if your family member wants Jesus until you share Him. Stop playing it safe and start living radically for the One who gave everything for you.
Bible Verse
'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.' - 1 Chronicles 7:14
Reflection Question
What radical step of faith is God calling you to take that you've been hesitating to make?
Quote At one point in your life, you will have to be determined to be a little bit radical. If you want to see some change in your life, you will have to be radical.
Prayer
Lord, give me the courage to be radical for You. Help me to step out of my comfort zone and trust You with the results. Make me a light that expels darkness wherever I go. Amen.
