Returning To God's Design

Devotional
When we hear the word 'radical,' we often think of extremism or something far outside the norm. But biblically speaking, radical change means something quite different. It's about returning to the root of God's original design for humanity - intimate fellowship with Him. In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve walked with God in perfect communion. There were no barriers, no shame, no distance. This was God's intention from the beginning - to be in close relationship with us. Sin disrupted this design, creating separation where there was once unity. God's heart has always been to restore what was lost. Throughout Scripture, we see His persistent pursuit of His people, calling them back to Himself. He doesn't force this restoration - He invites us into it. He initiates, and we respond. Today, consider what areas of your life might need to return to God's original design. Where have you drifted from intimate fellowship with Him? The beautiful truth is that God is always ready to welcome us back, not with condemnation but with open arms.

Bible Verse
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land." - Isaiah 1:18-19

Reflection Question
What barriers or distractions have prevented you from experiencing the intimate fellowship with God that He designed you for?

Quote
Biblically radical change equals a return to the root of God's design for humanity. Let's go back to the garden, go back to fellowship, goes back to the way God intended it to be.

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your original design of intimate fellowship with me. Forgive me for the ways I've drifted from Your presence. I want to return to the root of Your intention for my life. Help me identify and remove anything that stands between us. Draw me back to You today. Amen.
