Answering The Call
Scripture Reading:
Matthew 4:19-20 “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him.
Reflection:
When Jesus called the first disciples, His invitation was radical and immediate. He asked them to leave behind their livelihoods and step into the unknown, trusting Him completely. The call to follow Christ today is no less challenging. It requires us to surrender our plans and trust in His purpose. True discipleship begins with making Jesus Lord over every part of our lives.
Application:
Reflect on areas where you may be holding back from fully following Jesus. Pray for the courage to surrender those "nets" and take the next step in obedience to His call.
