Maintaining Your Spiritual Fire

Devotional
Maintaining our spiritual lives requires intentional effort, much like tending a fire. If we leave the fire unattended, it will eventually burn out, leaving nothing but ash. We must continually fuel our spiritual fire with prayer, scripture, and fellowship. This intentional effort keeps our faith alive and vibrant. Reflect on your spiritual practices. Are you consistently fueling your spiritual fire, or have you allowed it to burn low? Commit to regular spiritual disciplines that will keep your faith strong and growing. 'Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.' - Romans 12:12
Bible Verse
'Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.' - Romans 12:12
Reflection Question
What steps can you take to ensure that your spiritual fire remains strong and vibrant?
Quote
Do not leave the fire pit unattended. Make sure if you're leaving the fire pit for whatever amount of time that you put adequate wood in there that could sustain the fire for the period of time that you will be away from the fire. Because if you fail to do that, when you return, you will find nothing but ash.
Prayer
Father, help me to be diligent in maintaining my spiritual fire. Guide me in my prayer life, my study of Your Word, and my fellowship with other believers. Keep my faith strong and growing. Amen.
